A Rose is a Rose, except when it isn't

I meant to post this earlier, but on the eve of Valentine’s Day this is a perfect time for it to be shared.

We’ve seen LEGO roses before, heck, I’ve even built some but Barbara Werth’s rose is the first time I’ve seen minifig capes as petals.

It took me a moment to figure out how the center was made. See if you can figure it out.

I also really like the Toy Story Army Men bases as the leaves. That part isn’t used nearly enough, at least in my opinion.

Barbara certainly has a fun building style and its always great to find a fellow brick chick
