Luck o’ the Irish

Lego Store Monthly Mini Model – March, originally uploaded by Dave Shaddix.

Each month the LEGO Stores around the country have a monthly mini model. For this month, they have a nifty leprechaun with his pot of gold.
I love how all three shades of green are used in his outfit. The only thing I wish was that it was actually chrome gold instead.

This little guy was designed by LEGO Master Model Maker Erik Varszegi.

Hi – Anyone happen to have the instructions for building this cute little guy?

  2. ILikePi Says:

No instructions came with it; just a card with the parts list. I need to post a review of it on EuroBricks sometime. 🙂
By the way, the parts list has a mistake to it. The person who made the card wrote that you need one 1 x 1 nose cone, but you actually need two.

By the way, the angled green bricks that I got have too much friction to them. When I move one slightly, the whole thing just pops off. The metallic gold brick is nice. The only other way to “officially” get them is by buying Town Plan.

Augh; I forgot to post one more thing. the LEGO staff at Valley Fair (on March 3) ran out of tan 2 x 2 bricks, so I got a grey one instead. I also got a black “jumper” plate instead of a white one.

Is there anywhere I can go to see the parts list for the Leprechaun? Thanks for posting the pic!
