What child of the 80’s doesn’t remember these transforming cat robots of Voltron? Mark Sandlin of Fleebnork fame has created this iconic cartoon mecha in amazing detail. Not only did he faithfully recreate it. He also made it transformable. To get an idea on size, check out the minifig pilots on their individual cats. 😯

Mark has many more detailed photos at his Flickr photostream including WIP (work in progress) shots showing how he toyed with the idea of using chrome for part of the legs.

He said that it took him 71 hours. That’s impressive considering its size and complexity. Great job Mark! πŸ™‚
