Toyrobott on Etsy

by

Although I’ve mentioned her before Annie Bartling, graphic artist and t-shirt designer extraordinaire has just opened up a new store on Etsy — toyrobott

Her shirt designs have been floating around the web for a while now and I knew about them even before I knew Annie personally. A mixture of fun and funky, her LEGO inspired shirt designs are the perfect gift for the AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) who has everything.

Bricks by the Bay was the first LEGO convention where she sold her shirts and I immediately bought a couple.

My favorite has to be the I ❤ LEG GODT

Although a tad obscure to those uninitiated — the word LEGO comes from the Danish LEG GODT which means “play well” — I can’t believe no one has thought of making a shirt sooner.

As a complete random interesting fact — LEGO in Latin means “I put together,” something that was only discovered after the term LEGO had been created.

So, if you are looking for a new way to show your love of the brick, check out toyrobott! 😉
