LEGO Atlantis on

November 12, 2009 now has a section dedicated to LEGO Atlantis. What I find interesting is that although the latest LEGO magazine advertises the release date as November 24th, the official release date (maybe of the site) is April 1st, 2010.

What I got confused of at first was that I couldn’t see what you were supposed to do. I read the instructions, but they didn’t make sense to me at first. Basically you use your up and down arrow buttons on your computer and you “explore” like you are in a submarine. There isn’t much there yet, just a tantalizing hint of things to come. πŸ™‚

There is also one seller selling a LEGO Atlantis Ring and Diver (and nothing else) on

This part of the site is much more informative and in-depth. Hopefully we will get that part of the site and the games over here in the States soon.

Update: Toys R Us accidentally posted a few of the LEGO Atlantis and Power Miners 2010 sets early on their site. Some lucky few were able to order them before the products were pulled off. That’s how a few sets got released early.

Atlantis Promo

Thanks to The Green Giant LEGO we finally have a release date for LEGO Atlantis — November 24th, 2009!!!

Although I figured that they would be releasing some of the 2010 sets for Christmas, I didn’t expect them to advertise it. πŸ™‚

He also has several close up pictures of the actual Atlantis sets and elements.

The disks (or rings) look particualarly cool. Although I find it rather diceptive that the promo picture and the actual picture of the rings look different. From what I surmised from the concept pictures, there would be a different printed image on different rings. Of course that is why it’s called a “concept” picture. πŸ˜‰ But I would have rather had the different images, that would have made them cooler looking.

If you would like to see more of his pictures, including some of the new 2010 Power Miners and some other extras you can check them out in his Official LEGO sets set on Flickr.
