Bending the bounds of LEGO

September 3, 2009

Okay, maybe bending isn’t quite the right term. (No LEGO was harmed in the making of this MOC) πŸ˜‰ But Alex Eylar has certainly reinterpreted what you can do with it. Although the curving technique in itself isn’t new, you normally see it used to make buildings like lighthouses or castle towers. The simple elegance of this model without excessive amounts of greebles along with the lower set of wings makes this model a nice change from others I’ve seen.

I only feel sorry for the pilot. It can’t be comfortable driving this thing! πŸ˜€
