BrickCon, just around the corner

September 27, 2011

BrickCon 2011 T-shirt Design by BrickShirts

There are only a couple of days to go until the last US LEGO Con of the year will be under way. I know I’m excited! 😀

As I will once again be a vendor, I’ve created a lot of fun new items to sell. I’ve also got lots of new vinyl window sticker designs, some premiering for the first time and perfect for Halloween. 😉

I have to say, my favorite is the new skeleton.

I will also be showing my Remembering 9/11 mosaic, along with an updated version of my Dreyer’s Truck that was originally designed when I worked at LEGOLAND California. There may be a couple more MOCs, but it all depends on if I get them done.

If any of you are going, stop by my booth and say hi! And for all those who can’t make it, I will do my best to cover it for you.

Now, back to packing . . . 😀

Custom Minifig Stickers

March 3, 2011

Want a new way to show your love for LEGO minifigs? Check out these new vinyl decal stickers that just happen to be created by my brother Mike Asanuma. 🙂

They are all about 3 inches tall and prices range between $3-6 plus shipping.   The stickers are perfect for your laptop, car window, or just about any where else you feel like sticking them.

If you are interested in getting some click on any of the pictures or go to his Shallow Swamp Studios Etsy shop. He will also have these for sale at Bricks by the Bay at the end of the month. 😉

World’s First actual LEGO Book

August 18, 2009

I’ve been waiting for the final result of V&A Steamworks (Guy Himber’s) latest project — an actual LEGO book! 😀

This has been one of those projects that I just couldn’t put down.

All LEGO, with a fully functional spine, cover and pages.

The ‘pages’ are printed on vinyl and feature some of my favorite personal LEGO Steampunk builds

It truly is stunningly original! 🙂

I also couldn’t pass by one of his other really cool models, the Clockwork Jellyfish.

Great job Guy!
